When you use Crowned Rain, we may store information needed to provide features such as saved content, reading progress, prayer activity, and account preferences.

When you contact us, we keep the messages you send so we can respond and provide support.

When you make a purchase, payment information is collected and processed by Paystack, our payment processor. We do not need to store your full payment card details ourselves.

We use information to create and manage your account, provide and improve Crowned Rain, manage memberships, save your progress, provide customer support, maintain security and prevent fraud, and communicate important information about your account or the service.

We process personal information only where we have a lawful basis to do so. Depending on the situation, this is the performance of our contract with you (for example, providing your account and membership), our legitimate interests (for example, keeping the service secure and improving it), your consent (for example, optional communications), or compliance with a legal obligation.

Little Rain Studio is the seller of Crowned Rain. Payments are processed by Paystack, which collects and processes payment information according to Paystack's own privacy practices and terms.

Crowned Rain may use third-party services for hosting, authentication, payments, analytics, email, and other essential functions. This includes Paystack as our payment processor for purchases. These services process information on our behalf only as necessary to provide the service.

We may also share information with professional advisers such as legal or accounting advisers, and with authorities where required by law.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and limiting access to personal information to those who need it to operate the service.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain your account, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

When you close your account, your profile, progress, saved items and reviews are deleted. Records of payments and refunds (such as plan, amount, currency, exchange rate, status and dates) are kept for as long as financial and tax law requires, without your Paystack customer code, and any remaining Premium period ends.

Crowned Rain uses your browser's local storage only for essential functions, such as keeping you signed in and remembering simple preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Little Rain Studio is based in Kenya. Some of our service providers, including our hosting and database provider, Google (for Google sign-in and web fonts) and Paystack, may store or process information outside Kenya. Where this happens, we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards to protect your information.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or transfer certain information, the right to object to certain processing, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Crowned Rain is not intended for children under the applicable minimum age for using online services in their location. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required.
