Evening prayer

Father, as this day closes, I worship you as the God whose greatness includes care for wounded hearts. I leave with you the moments I cannot put right tonight. Forgive the sharp words my pain helped provoke, and guide me toward making amends. Grant me rest without requiring every sorrow to be resolved. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.
